Manic Monday word for today is rank.
I hope this Thanksgiving had special meaning for you and ranked high. After two very hectic weeks I was grateful for time to relax.
By Thursday afternoon our table looked like this (sans food)
a few hours later the turkey looked like this
not this
(2005 turkey)
and family and friends were together under one roof.
This year, Thanksgiving ranked high on my list of special Thanksgivings.
Happy MM and a very happy start to the holiday season.

Hi Deb, I'll check it out.
As my ancestors weren't amongst the pilgrims and didn't sail on the Mayflower but stayed in Europe, I had no Thanksgiving to celebrate, lol ! But I would have loved to bite in your turkey, it looks delicious !
Hotep! Great MM post. My Thanksgiving was much more low-key, however, it is wonderful to see how well it went at your household...
My MM:Rank post goes back to a military theme, however, I continue to provide African American history insights as part of this weekly meme. I hope you enjoy it.
peace, Villager
