Did you know?

2. The jukebox got its name from jook, African-American slang for "dance".
3. Wedding cake was originally thrown AT the bride and groom instead of being eaten by them.
4. TIP is an acronym for "to insure promptness" and once upon a time was given in advance.

1. Interesting. I always thought Jello was brain food!
2. I did know that and that is also where dance halls back in the day were called Jook Joints, sometimes Juke joints because they had a juke box.
3. THAT sounds lke fun!
4. I knew this!
5. Nice to know even ALfred was a designer.
Wow you taught me a lot!
Oh Alfred...you were a genius!
;-)
Interesting tidbits!
...Don't you kinda wonder what prompted a Jell-O-brained scientist to actually DO this?
More fun to watch Jell-O jiggle on top of a jukebox.
Or to throw Jell-O at a bride and groom.
Or go to a restaurant, eat Jell-O and leave a big tip.
Or make an Alfred Hitchcock Jell-O mold salad.
Hmm. Maybe my brain IS Jell-O.
or do jello shots! ;-)
I like the idea of throwing cake and jello at the bride and groom! Make for a colorful and fun wedding.
