Ooooops... The German word for daffodil is "Osterglocke" because they bloom some time around Easter (Ostern=Easter, Glocke=bell -> like the daffodil´s blossom). My favorite decoration for Easter are daffodils... does this mean... *LOL*

Oh I love daffodils! A few years ago I had some bloom in my backyard. I couldn't wait to go out and photograph them. However, thanks to my luck we got an awful ice storm and the beautiful flower was....sniff sniff, I can't even say it (dead!)

Thanks for the interesting info, Lisa. I'll try to remember this stuff next time I wear my golden yellow blouse that I word to church yesterday. I got some really nice compliments and often do when I wear that top.
They have a saying in janitorial circles.
When cleaning bathrooms, to flush or not to flush:
