Fall in Central Park

Our fall in Upstate NY is almost over
but down here it has just begun.

(Can't get enough of this fall color!)

SO beautiful, and proof that NYC has a softer side if one looks (and sees). I'll be down there next month...love it/hate it, but mostly love it ;-). Street vendors, great food everywhere, incredible people-watching opps, Chinatown, Little Italy, the museums, and what I love most about most cities: One can walk or subway to just about anywhere. Ohhh, I hate riding those subways. But they still amaze me...so do cabdrivers who manage to negotiate the hair-raising ordeal of driving through the City.

I don't remember when you went down there, but I'm pretty sure you missed our first real snowfall. I didn't take any pics, though -- we'll be looking at that white stuff a VERY long time. Still, I must admit it was pretty.

Hi V - I did miss the first snowfall but as you said, lots more of that to be seen!

bet you'll have fun in the city too.

I had a cab driver this trip who thought he was in the Indy 500 - he had to be first out of the start (every light)and for each turn, taking glee in cutting off the other cabs, buses, and trucks that were already in the lanes. Always an adventure!
