Tit for Tat

Cockney rhyming slang is a code of speaking which has been evolving in the East End of London since the mid-19th century. Any guesses on what the following terms mean?

Tit for Tat
Cherry Hog
Tiddlywink
Pot of Glue (hint below)
Yard of Tripe

Yikes. I have enough trouble understanding regular English on a good day.

Interesting stuff, though -- see http://www.aldertons.com/.

Care to decipher?

I've been cleaning the mickey, tossing the itchy, hanging the teapots' lemon tart, and getting ready for me yo ho ho's visit!

I am not sure if you recall what a dog's breakfast is. Unless of course a Cherry Hog is a Red Dog? Or a crimson Harley!

Yep, Cherry Hog is "dog" in Cockney slang.
