Vegemite - an Australian Favorite!

But (so far) not an American favorite!
I received my first gimmeyourstuff package from Australia.
It had delicious TimTam cookies, lovely Anzac cookies, yummy Milo chocolate drink mix, and well, some Vegemite.

Luckily I had a camp full of guests to try the Vegemite out on.
Here are their reactions and what they had to say.

Wussies.

Vegemite is good when prepared the Recommended Way. (Heck, anything thinly spread under a pile o' melty margarine on toast is all fine.)

Then again, I love Kim Chee and Morbier cheese, which my hubbie called "dead rat stinky cheese," so I'm likely not be right in the head.

This is the funniest post du jour for me -- have you shared the pics with the GimmeSwappers? The expressions are hilarious!

Lori,
You like vegemite?? You really like vegemite???

Can't say I've ever had Kim Chee and Morbier cheese so I can't compare.

GimmeSwappers have the photos to be posted.

You big chooks!
Your not supposed to eat that much in one go, unless you are a hardcore Aussie... depends on your mood usually.
It is Vitamin B goodness!
Eat up!

the secret is to have a scraping on toast with lots of butter, only tuckshop ladies (canteens) put it on thick!
