Huani means mother of all in Mandarin. Coincidence?
Cool! I think, no coincidence. The article said this is not the first time she has nursed baby tigers. They didn't even have to coat the babies with dog urine (ewww) in order for her to accept them.
yeah, I read the rest of the ever so brief article!
must be divine intervention.
NOW, that is my kind of story. LOVE it!
Me too Kate. :-)
She's kitty's best friend!
So neat!
But -- now this might be just me -- the look on the dog's face seems to say, "OK, that one's a puppy...but WHAT the hell are THOSE?"
Ahh, a good mom at any rate, that Huani.
Hi Trav, too bad those little kitties won't stay that size!
Vanessssssssssa! coffee?? pool time?? soon?
wonder if those kitties are kneading Huani's tummy. and where are the rest of the puppies? isn't it unusual to have just one? and what about Naomi?
A great AWWWWW moment, Lisa.
At one time I got a kitten that must have been taken from its mother too soon. It kept "nursing" on the stomach hair of the long haired dog I had at the time. D-o-g didn't mind it at all, and in fact seemed to like it. D-o-g never had pups as I had her spayed.
