Widgets

What's a widget?

I saw these for the first time at the Apple Store a couple of weeks ago.

Widgets are mini-applications that dress up your computer desktop, while providing useful feedback. They were originally designed for the Mac Operating System and are now available for Windows
.
Weather, time, to do lists, post it notes, picture frames - there are 1978 widgets available for download at www.widgets.yahoo.com
