It was the Rider-Waite Deck. I loved the illustrations on the cards and the whole idea of telling fortunes. I have several books on the tarot. I've told fortunes & had fortunes read. At no time in my tarot card experience, has there been anything to convince me there is ANY truth in these readings. (Although every now and again a reading will give me the shivers.) I just love the fun and the idea of it.
There are many different and lovely illustrated decks available now but the Rider-Waite is still my favorite.
for a little tarot history

and guess what? I found a tarot widget :-)
